I'm Brandon Burrows.
My journey in business started with Tropix Air, where I discovered a passion for entrepreneurship that drove me to keep learning and growing. I wanted to do more for my family’s business, so I took the leap into the shipping industry. Eventually, I became the CEO of Tropix Shipping, where I’ve worked hard to make it one of The Bahamas' most trusted names in shipping.
As I saw the need to create better connections between the U.S. and The Bahamas, I expanded our services to include U.S. trucking operations in Florida. My goal has always been to provide clients with cost-effective and reliable shipping solutions that make their lives easier.
But my journey didn’t stop there. I also became the CEO of Oasis Shopping Bahamas, where I’m focused on meeting our customers’ needs by offering a wide range of products in our stores in Nassau and Abaco. We’re always looking for ways to make healthy options and everyday essentials more accessible to everyone.
I’m also proud to be a part-owner of Bahama Eats, a food delivery service that’s all about bringing convenience to your doorstep. I invested in Bahama Eats because I saw the need to make local food more accessible to everyone in our community, and I wanted to help make that happen.
Through all of these ventures, I realized that bringing my businesses under one umbrella would help them grow and support each other, which led to the creation of Vinetree Holdings. It's the parent company that ties everything together, giving me the chance to drive innovation and create even more job opportunities across the islands.
Outside of business, I’m also a licensed pilot. I earned my commercial pilot’s license back in 2011, which has always been a dream of mine. Flying and business might seem worlds apart, but to me, they both represent freedom, focus, and the drive to keep pushing forward.
Lately, I’ve been diving into the real estate world, not just for the business opportunities but because I believe it’s a great way to build genuine connections and create a sense of belonging. Real estate feels like the perfect way to bring my passion for community and growth to a whole new level.
At the end of the day, I’m all about creating value, helping others, and making sure that every project I’m involved in delivers something meaningful. Whether it's through shipping, retail, food delivery, or real estate, my aim is always the same: to make a positive impact on the lives of the people I serve.
